During 2010, the KAC is conducting a 360 degree review of the needs of its members, to determine how the organization can most effectively serve them in the future and how it can continue to advance the key goals of Kentucky Agriculture. These goals are represented by the KAC's landmark document: A Pathway for Kentucky's Agriculture and its Rural Communities: 2007 to 2012 Strategic Plan, and were recently reviewed and updated through the KAC's August 2009 Progress Report.
The Feasibility Study will take place over 10 months and will identify: alternative options for the organization's future structure and staffing; potential mechanisms that would allow the organization to maintain its financial visability in future years.
If adopted by the organization's membership and Board of Directors, the study's recommendations would be implemented at the beginning of 2011.
